ArcelorMittal Brasil was incorporated with the purpose of accelerating and proposing alternatives for ArcelorMittal Group's growth strategy in Latin America, the aim being to become a single company with different specialties

ArcelorMittal Brasil's objective is to rank among the companies with the highest market capitalization in Latin America. The creation of the company is seen as the route for consolidating the regional steel industry.
