The companies that compose ArcelorMittal Brasil have a long history of interacting with the communities where they operate by means of promotion and sponsorship of a large range of projects aimed at the population's quality of living. The projects are preferably directed to the areas of education, culture, social promotion, health, environment and urban infra-structure.
In order to manage its social actions ArcelorMittal Brasil has tools to plan, develop and monitor each project. The system allows management and follow up of all the social programs developed by the controlled companies.
The educational and social projects benefit more than one million people in the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Bahia.
