Juiz de Fora Plant – The Juiz de Fora plant, in the state of Minas Gerais, is amini-mill that produces rolled long and drawn wire steel products from scrap and pig iron, It has an annual capacity of 1,000,000 metric tons of steel and 226,000 metric tons of dawn wire, Its products are widely used in building construction (wires, nails, and beams), in industries (mechanical bars, wire rods, and wires) and in the agribusiness (barbed wire, oval wire and grips).
Piracicaba Plant - The Piracicaba plant, in the state of Sao Paulo, is a mini-mill that specializes in the production of rods for building construction. Scrap iron is the main feedstock used in its electric steelworks. The unit has a production capacity of 1,000,000 metric tons per year,
Grande Vitória Plant - The plant Grande Vitória, in the city of Cariacica, state of Espírito Santo, is a mini-mill that produces rolled steel, light, and medium-weight beams for mechanical construction, energy transmission towers and telecommunications, Its current installed annual capacity is 500,000 metric tons of steel and 440,000 metric tons of rolled steel (beams).
Itaúna Plant - Leased by Itaúna Siderúrgica (a Belgo Siderurgia subsidiary), the Itaúna plant, in the state of Minas Gerais, has an installed capacity of 100,000 metric tons per year. It produces bars and beams from billets sent by other company units, Its products are used in the locksmithing industry, metallic structures, furniture industry, and metallurgy in general.
Acindar – Industria Argentina de Aceros - The largest long steel mill in Argentina is a subsidiary of Belgo Siderurgia, which holds 72.7% of its social capital. It has an annual capacity of 1,400,000 metric tons of rolled steel (wire rod, bars, and beams) and 180,000 metric tons of drawn wire. Its main productive unit, an integrated direct reduction (DRI-MIDREX) plant, is located in the city of Villa Constitución, in the province of Santa Fé.
Fábrica de Telas e Treliças - Established in Sao Paulo, near the city of Guarulhos, Fábrica de Telas e Treliças (Frames and Trusses Factory) has an annual capacity of 60,000 metric tons of products aimed mainly that state's market.
Fábrica de Sabará - Belgo's pioneer unit, it was opened in 1919, in the city of Sabará, state of Minas Gerais. It produces bars aimed at the auto industry with high levels of technology, quality, productivity, and safety.
BBA - Belgo Bekaert Arames - BBA works four drawing mills in the cities of Contagem and Sabará, in the state of Minas Gerais, and in Osasco and Hortolândia, in the state of Sao Paulo. With a total production capacity of 700,000 metric tons per year of drawn wires, it produces wires for industrial and general use, for energy transmission, welds, agribusiness, and prestressed concrete.
BMB - Belgo Bekaert Artefatos de Arame - It has two drawing mills in the cities of Vespasiano and Itaúna, in the state of Minas Gerais, it produces steel cord e hose wire from wire rods supplied by the Monlevade plant. Its production capacity is 50,000 metric tons/year.
BBN - Belgo Bekaert Nordeste - A drawing mill installed in the city of Feira de Santana, in the state of Bahia, it produces nails and wires for the agribusiness. It has an installed capacity of 70,000 metric tons/year.
WRI - Wire Rope Industries Group - WEI operates four drawing mills, one in Brazil, in the city Osasco, state of Sao Paulo (Cimaf Cabos), and three abroad-Chile (Prodinsa), Peru (Procables), and Canada (WRI). They specialize in the production of steel cables for the mechanical industry, elevators, oil platforms and general use. It has an installed production capacity of 50,000 metric tons/year.
CAF Santa Bárbara – It supplies wood and vegetable coal for the production of pig-iron, directly and indirectly serving Belgo units. It has 100,000 hectares of eucalyptus reserves and 60,000 hectares of native eucalyptus forests in the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Bahia.
